A certain someone: Okay la, I'll talk to you some other time.
Me: Fine, you can't wait to get rid of me already is it?
A certain someone: Kind of, yeah.
Me: *internal gasp, WOW* Okay then, glad talking to you, bye bye.
A certain someone: Okay, bye bye.
Sometimes I can't help but wonder. Why can't some people foresee the implications and repercussions of the words that they utter to people? Will they hurt that person? Will they make them happy?
I guess the answer is a placid 'no'. It seems to me that nowadays, that it is evidently too much to ask for a bit of attention and compassion from people you most care about. Scratch that, make it everyone.
On top of things, I think that friendship does not give you to the authority to say disagreeable things to our intimates. The nearer we come into relation with a person, the more necessary do tact and courtesy become.
Courtesy.
Is it too much to ask, really?
